Hi future nurses and any current nurses!

I applied for spring 2019 about 2-3 weeks ago. It already feels like I've been waiting for ages, though!

I'm curious about what you all's admission stats are (GPA, TEAS, how many pre reqs you've taken, etc.) Here's my stats...

General Ed GPA: 4.0

Science GPA: 4.0

TEAS: 78

I've taken 8 out of 12 of the required prerequisites.

Also, how many programs have you guys applied to? I only applied to this one, sadly. So, I'm wishing on a constellation that i get in. :roflmao:

I'm excited to virtually bond with you guys and share our (hopefully) positive results!

Hey Lexlex161,

I also am applying for Spring 19 but plan to apply to a few other schools including Middle Georgia, Dalton, Clayton State, & Gordon College. I'm actually a respiratory therapist currently, but wanting to get into nursing to potentially do CRNA. í ½í¸©í ½í¸©í ½í¸© taking a few summer courses and of course my sciences are expired so I have to take those over. Took the teas made a 75. Best of luck to you and everyone applying. RT school was just as nerve wrecking awaiting acceptance or denial into the program.

Hi there. I just applied to the Spring 2019 program last week. I've taken all of the pre-requisites minus 6 credits. I'm taking Micro in the Fall along with 2 one-credit electives. I totally expected to fail the TEAS and re-take at the end of this month. I did not get much study time. However, I did better than I anticipated.

General GPA 4.0

Science GPA 4.0

TEAS: 83.3%

Oh...and I only applied to Perimeter. I believe all the others required courses I have not yet taken.

Hey Everyone,

I also applied to Spring 2019 nursing program through Georgia Perimeter too. I had to retake the TEAS. I thought since I had a pretty good GPA that when I took the TEAS all I had to do was pass their minimum score. At the time... I didn't realize how competitive it was. Georgia Perimeter minimum score was a 63 and since my individual score was a 64.7 I thought I was fine. When I applied in the fall. I got denied and when I inquired on why I got denied I was just told that even though the minimum TEAS score met the requirements.. They didn't take anybody who had lower than an individual score of an overall score of 70 on the TEAS. I guess that's how competitive it is. Thought this info could be helpful for some!

I re-took Teas and got a 75 and applied for Spring 2019.

My Science GPA is 3.4 and I've taken all the required classes with an overall GPA of 3.7

Hey guys ! It sounds like everyone has good chances of getting in. I only applied to GPC. If I don't get in, I will just go for my bachelor's. I got my letter saying I meet the min. requirements and I will hear back in September.

GPA: 3.59

Science: 3.1

Teas: 88

Hi everyone I took my teas today it was a 62. I haven't applied but I still can apply because my reading was a 74.3 and math was 84.3 my gpa is 3.5 and I'm scared to apply.

Did they just say in september or give an exact date? I will send in my application next week after my TEAS

Hey everybody,

I only applied to GSU Perimeter and here are my stats:

Science: 3.4

GPA: 3.42

TEAS: 82

I only have Physical Education and Research as prereqs left.

Hey everybody, I applied recently too, my TEAS score is 77.3%, but they still havn't calculated my GPA yet, i was recently accepted into the school. So this might be a stupid question, but I do i send my TEAS score to Georgia State Perimeter College TEAS, or just Georgia State Perimeter College? They are two different options and i'm just trying to get everything in on time.

You must send your score to Georgia State U Perimeter College TEAS.

Are you done yet with your prereqs, except for Physical Education and Research?

Yep, I finished all of my prereqs, just waiting for them to add all of my classes from my transcripts and calculate my GPA. I'm just worried that they won't be in on time, I applied but no conformation or anything. Also Thank you!
