Georgia State Perimeter College Fall 2019

Nursing Students School Programs

Hi all! I wanted to start a thread for those applying to Perimeter for the fall 2019 program.

I take my TEAS this afternoon and will be sending in my application after that. Good luck to everyone trying to get in!

Hey there - I've been waiting for someone to start a thread for Fall 2019! I actually signed up to start one but then saw this, so thank you!

I applied for the fall after not getting into Spring 2019. Good luck on your TEAS and let us know how it goes!

Oh hey cool, I’m glad someone replied! I was sad the site was down for so long when I was finally ready to have a thread for the semester I’m applying for.

Admissions has been really fierce the last few semesters it seems. My TEAS went well, so I’m hopeful, but still nervous. Hopefully you have better luck this time!

That's great! I hope so too. What did you get on the TEAS?

I got a 92! It was a little better than I had hoped for. I have a couple of B's on prereqs from my previous degree, so I had hoped for a higher TEAS to balance that out.

That is SO amazing! That's way above average. I got a 90 and am in the same boat with the prereqs. My stats are: 3.5 overall, 3.2 science, and 90 on TEAS. Not sure if that is competitive enough for Fall.

Those are great stats! I'm honestly surprised you didn't get in.

I'm 3.6 (last I remember) for prereqs, 4.0 for biology, and am taking A&P2 this semester. I remember at the info session I went to a while back hearing that 80% of people who meet the minimum requirements get in, and that just doesn't seem to be the case given the stats of everyone I've read about on this site. It's quite competitive these days.

You should have absolutely no trouble!!! Your stats are almost perfect! I agree with you - there's been a ton of people with similar stats who haven't got in. But just keeping my fingers crossed! They send letters end of March/April right?

I just sent in my application and I’m so nervous and paranoid something is gonna go wrong lol. My stats are 89.3% TEAS, 4.23 science GPA, 4.19 overall GPA. Taking A&PII rn. Im downtown, not at perimeter, I could only find this thread. Hope everyone gets in. All yalls stats sound amazing imo

You can make a thread for GSU if none exist yet! Your stats seem great too. How do you get above 4.0 for your grades? I don't know how to compare that to the normal 4.0 score but I assume it's good news!

Yeah seems to be right in that timeline in past years. Seems so far away, but I'm thinking the time will likely fly by as well.

Sorry i'm responding a little late. I just found a thread! At the Atlanta campus if you get an A+ in a class, it's weighted as 4.3. I didn't know that wasn't a thing elsewhere. Do you guys know if recommendations had to be one professional and one academic or could they both be academic?
