Georgia Perimeter Spring 2011

Published

Hi, Does anyone know when letters will be mailed out for spring 2011?

I'm so anxious!

What about the students who applied for spring 2010, do you remember when you received your letters?

Thanks a ton

Got the letter today - I MADE IT FOR THE SPRING NURSING PROGRAM!!!!!!!:yeah:

Good luck to everyone.

"Just curious where you got the info that 1000 people applied for the spring semester. When I went to the information session they informed us that there were usually 200-250 applicants for 60 spots in the spring and usually 350 applicants for 160 spots in the fall."

This is just what I read on another post about GPC for Fall semester one time. Don't know if it's true, but they sure do make everything sound scary. I'm just trying to come up with the worst case scenario.

Groovycindy!!!! What did you do to get in?!

Well, I did well on my TEAS, have a decent GPA, already have a B.A. (from a LONG time ago) and prayed a lot!:redbeathe

The mailman didn't arrive until 6:30 tonight! He normally comes around 3-4p. I was accepted too!

I just received my acceptance letter, too! I can't stop smiling! :)

Congrats to each of you! This was my second go round for applying. I can't stop smiling! What are your plans for work, family while you are in the program? I'm already searching for books, uniforms, etc. Good luck to those still waiting.

FINALLY got the right mail from the mailman! Lol, I am accepted and am sooo excited! For those who were asking: GPA is 3.9, TEAS was 91, and science grades were As except 1 B in A&P I Lab. Good luck to all those who are still waiting! :)

Jeez, I didn't get anything yet. Hopefully I will get something tomorrow...btw did the acceptance letters arrive in a large envelope or just a small regular envelope?

Congrats to those of you that got in. Nothing in my mailbox today. Still have my fingers crossed! I was starting to panic when I didn't get anything, but my bf reminded me that no news is good news! I didn't get a rejection letter today either so i will keep positive thoughts. I moved recently too and although I updated my address in the SIS. I never thought to contact the Nursing Dept so I will stop by there tomorrow to make sure they have the right address.

Congrats again to you guys, for the rest of us, lets keep our thoughts positive!!!

@ an2on:

It was a big envelope, not a normal small one. Good luck, and keep your fingers crossed!

Congrats to those that have their acceptance letters and I bet folks still waiting will get theirs today and the wait will be over! :) I was going through my packet and it said there was a medical form enclosed, but I didn't see one anywhere. Did anyone else get one by chance?

I didn't have the medical form enclosed either. I will try to contact them today.
