Georgia Perimeter Fall 2015

Published

Hello All,

I currently attend GPC Decatur campus, just finished A and P 1 spring 2014 and now making preparations to take the TEAS V and submit my application for the Fall 2015 nursing program. I plan to take A and P 2 Fall 2014 and Micro in Spring 2015. Just wanted to start a thread for students planning to apply for NS Fall 2015. I have been stalking the earlier threads, and they were very helpful and informative. Look forward to meeting some future classmates! :)

Yeah it sucks, but it actually gives me a year to save on daycare! I spoke with them today and they said if I can get my science over 3.0 gpa this semester then they will reconsider me for any open spots, but otherwise work on it in the fall. I'm able to get my psychology degree finished this fall and then I'll be reapplying. Good luck to you all though!!

Just curious. How many of us are currently attending Georgia State? I graduate with BS in may. Anyone else?

Nope. I attend Newton GPC. Have been here for 4 semesters :) Wish they held nursing at Newton, we have such a nice campus and classrooms! Clarkston fall 2015 ;)

Im attending Gsu but im just doing my pre reqs

Has anyone who accepted and sent their information in got the confirmation email yet with registration info?

No, no email yet. I was beginning to think that I was the only one.

Hello, I was accepted as well. I haven't received any information as of yet either.

Hey guys!! There is a Facebook group that was created for those accepted for fall 2015. You can join it and ask any question abut the process. It is also a great way to communicate with your future classmates.

hello, does anyone know the minimum cumulative gpa for Georgia Perimeter ADN Nursing program?

Well 2.6 is the minimum I believe but I'm sure they prefer much higher. Your science gpa really matters, as does the TEAS. I got in with a 3.95 overall, 4.0 sciences and an 80 on the TEAS.

I've been told your gpa goes down in nursing so you probably can't start too low and make it through.

Hope that helps some
