Hopefully, we are getting close to hearing something. I wanted to start a new thread and see if anyone wanted to play the waiting game for fall ADN Program. We've been waiting since April 1st and it's about time we heard something.:anbd:

I just got back from mt interview, it wasn't bad at all....There was definitely more people than I intended there.

Yes, there was 6 people: 2 human resource, 2 scholar coordinators, 1 chief nursing officer, and the other person ???

I wish that I knew? I asked the receptionist and she said that they are interviewing today till 12:30, and then tomorrow all day till 4:30, and then again on friday. The interviews are done every 20 minutes.....That's a lot of people and I also found out that only 28 slots are availiable, not the 40 that were originally anticipated. :(

How do you feel that you did?

Thanks for asking, I feel I did great. I wasn't really nervous at all. I was excited about getting to plea my case, so to speak. The interviewers were relaxed and it helped put me at ease.

Dallas, glad you were relaxed and think you did well. I was the last interviewee today. I was very nervous and felt intimidated, and feel like they didn't really get a good feel for me by answers to their questions. All of the questions were situation/behavior based - "Tell me about a situation where such-and-such happened and what you did and how you knew that the situation was resolved." "Who is a role model to you and for whom are you a role model?"

They read your essay right before you go in. C. West is VERY nice and helps put you at ease.

The computer portion was personality/psychologically based - you pick the viewpoint (out of 4 options) which most relates to your viewpoint, and one that least relates to your viewpiont. Then there is an analogy and a logic section. At the end you list your employment info and what other people think your qualities are, and what you think about yourself, and what qualitites you find most appealing in other people.

They did NOT tell me that there are only 28 slots now.

I feel less confident now than I did before the interview, unfortunately.

I just got back from the interview also. The lady said that they recieved 43 applicants and that 40 were being accepted. When I checked my messages on my phone I had a text message from GA Highlands stating that if anyone was still interested in applying for the scholarship to contact her.

I also found out that the Cartersville book store has all the nursing books also.

When I walked out of the interview I was walked out by Helen Slaven, I asked her if she was able to tell me how many applicants they received and how many slots were availiable. She said that she just found out a couple of days ago that they are just going to be able to take on 28 instead of the original 40.???? Maybe she was just uniformed, who knows????? I wish I knew more, I'm tired of the waiting game.

Does that mean that the classes are going to be at Southern Poly as opposed to WDC? The reason the number was originally increased to 40 was because the location was switched to WDC.
