Hopefully, we are getting close to hearing something. I wanted to start a new thread and see if anyone wanted to play the waiting game for fall ADN Program. We've been waiting since April 1st and it's about time we heard something.:anbd:

Haylee I got to meet you today! I hope your interview went ok. I think mine went well. The star class was very distracting....I am a little sad that I have to give notice to my work on Monday...:crying2: But hopefully the scheldule is Tues, Weds, Thurs....Just so you all know I was on the wait list..and got accepted last week...too much to do not enough time! How long does it take to order uniforms and get them? I really hope that the class size is 40! Take care and good luck to everyone that has interview tomorrow!

Dallas...don't be worried. You'll be fine. I'll help you if you have trouble. A big reason for why the final was so hard is because it was timed. I'm not confident in my answers when it comes to math, and I tend to second guess myself. So, I did several of the problems twice, just to make sure that I got the same answer twice. There were 35 questions, and I got 30 correct. Two of the 5 that I missed were because time was up, so the last two questions I just had to leave blank. One of the problems, I realize now what I did wrong, and one of the other ones I got wrong was a mathematical error. (The problem's answer was in hours and seconds, and my second was off by one.)

They will go over it with us during the first semester...it's just not as much time to make sure you've got it down pat as the Clinical Calculations class is. It will be alright....we will all be fine. :wink2:

I can't wait till orientation either. I just am amazed how fast it's all happening....I started doing some deep cleaning last night in preparation for everything. I finished my closet and now I have to work on my kids rooms:heartbeat today.:smilecoffeecup:

Too funny....I thought I was the only one who was doing that! I started deep cleaning this past weekend. I was thinking.....my house might not see this kind of cleaning for a year and a half, so I guess I better do it now!

Everybody, are we still on for breakfast/coffee at IHOP before orientation Wednesday morning? If so, what time and where do the ones coming from out of town want to meet?

I just hit up Wal-mart and bought 2000 notecards, LOL. They are on sale and it's tax free weekend. I figure I might need them. I would have gotten more, but people started starring at me like, "whoa, what's up with the lady with the notecards?" I may go back tomorrow. I also stocked up on highlighters, paper, and pencils. It's so cheap right now compared to what it will cost in a few months, so I'm getting enough to get through both semesters. I didn't do any deep cleaning, but I painted 2 bathrooms... that didn't even need to be painted. When I get nervous/excited/anxious, I do stuff like that, lol.

What time is the IHOP meet up?

I had my interview this morning and the story is they are only taking up to 28 people in the scholars loan program. HOWEVER they will be taking 40 students at windy hill as a class. Also, I assumed it was a loan until you complete your three years with wellstar. I heard by word of mouth it is an actually loan that is payroll deducted until it is paid back. I am not overly confident in my chances. my interview seemed awkward. AND the final decision is made by a VP who is out of town all next week so we will not here until the week after orientation.
