Georgia Highlands College Waiting Game!

U.S.A. Georgia

Published

Hopefully, we are getting close to hearing something. I wanted to start a new thread and see if anyone wanted to play the waiting game for fall ADN Program. We've been waiting since April 1st and it's about time we heard something.:anbd:

I was told at registration that the reason the hours weren't decided on for Marietta was because they were trying to find an area in the Development Center to put 40 students. I think it makes sense that they went back down on the number accepted but it really really sucks. They just couldnt find an area big enough for that many people. I go in the morning and will try to get more clarification.

Hi everybody, and congrats to all those who got in! Even though I'm in the KSU cohort, I'm sure I'll be running into those of you who are going to Heritage Hall in August. Best wishes and enjoy the rest of summer, 'cause you KNOW we'll have no time to breathe once we start!

I also feel that I did very well. I am lucky because I knew one of the HR reps and the chief nursing officer. I have worked with the CNO several times with issues and as a safety coach. The first guy had the hardest question though. He asked me 3 questions!!!!!!!!! Also, that Caliper test was a killer!!! I do NOT like analogies but atleast it was not terrible. My head was racing when I left the room.

Hayley, where did you sit in the room? I was in there too. Do you have blonde hair and was wearing black? I have VERY curly hair and was wearing a black suit dress.

Melissa, what is the count down today?

Starrdan - I was on the back row - brown hair pulled up, black dress. Is your very curly hair blonde? If so, I saw you, and you have nice hair.

I loved the Caliper test : )

Yes, I was the one with very curly hair and thank you. It is such a pain sometimes. So, you were on my left side?

Yes, ma'am. I couldn't believe they started a STAR class while we were in there! Very distracting.

It was annoying!!! Well Hayley, nice to meet you somewhat......

We all have to meet up before orientation. I can't wait to actually meet ALL of you and actually get to talk with you!!!!

Lucky you stardan! You've got it girl....The guy only asked me one question and then 4 others asked me one each. They rotated....

I swear they asked me ATLEAST 10 questions. I think they thought since I worked with Wellstar, I should have to answer more!!!!

Okay, maybe I shouldn't feel so good about things. They didn't ask me many questions. When I walked out the lady told me I did great....So, I thought well maybe I did....Hmmmmmm. Maybe, she said that to everyone. lol!!!:chuckle
