Hopefully, we are getting close to hearing something. I wanted to start a new thread and see if anyone wanted to play the waiting game for fall ADN Program. We've been waiting since April 1st and it's about time we heard something.:anbd:

That is funny that you asked that. I had a Clinical Calculations assignment due to Dr. Rees today, so I stopped by the nursing dept to give it to her. Dr. Rees wasn't in, but the secretary was.

I asked her if our schedules were still set to be input today, and she said "Well, actually now they are saying that it COULD be the week of orientation or the week after." I cannot believe that we will not know exactly what our days/hours will be until then!!!! Geez.....

I also asked her if she knew what we would be doing those two days at orientation. She said the basic things like meeting the teachers and hearing what to expect out of the program, etc. Then she said that we would also be testing one of those days! After I freaked out on her, she told me that it was "more of an assessment test to see where we are" than anything. She said that it would have no impact on us staying in the program.

Wheeeeeew, I am glad that my assessment will not impact my slot b/c I prob wouldn't do that well considering that I have no way to prepare....I'm still pumped and ready to roll up my sleeves and get started! How about you guys? Are you more excited than anxious or vise versa???

The closer it gets, the more nervous I get. I can't think about it for too long or I start to feel nauseated. lol But, I'm still excited and ready. Bring it ON!!!!!! :hpygrp:

I'm more anxious for the wellstar interview. I wonder when they will be calling to set up interviews.

lol hobo, I am w/you on being nervous about the wellstar interview! I don't interview well. My mind starts racing and I have a hard time concentrating on the questions being asked.:msk: Despite my nervousness, I will try to put on a mask and pretend that I'm o.k.

I agree. I am VERY nervous about the interview. I still have not heard anything yet.

My fall registration information and student bill for the fall was posted when I checked my BANNER/SCORE account this morning. It still doesn't give us definited times and days though. It says that information will be given to us at the Keys To Success workshop.

When I didn't hear from anyone yesterday I started to get worried that Wellstar might not have even received my application. I sent an email to the same person we emailed our app to. I just said that I was sorry to bother her again w/ an email but I wanted to know if she had indeed received my app..... She emailed me this morning and said that yes, she had and she would be contacting people today to set up interview times....
