Is anyone applying for Fall 2010 admission to this program?

I missed that everyone was meeting for breakfast too. Maybe I will catch it next time. I will be attending the Rome campus. Not sure what to think about the Keys Workshop. I am excited but scared to death at the same time. I wish that Vista was up so we could look through it and get ready!

I know. I tried to log onto the ATI site, but was unable to. I am trying to find out more about the ebooks from the library now. That 18 chapters scared the heck out of me.

I will be attending the Marietta Campus, it is located closer to my home. I was glad to get a little bit more information from the school, as far as the schedule and booklist. The 18 chapters is a bit scary, I have already started on the reading.

The fact that our schedules (Marietta & Rome) are different we won't be able to study much as a big group, like the the Fall 2009 group.

yeah that is a lot of material! I only have my fundamentals book right now and I have read 4 chapters. but I would love to have my syllabus now instead of a week before school starts so I can start reading!

Congrats to all of you that are going to be starting the nursing program soon! I am applying for the Spring semester. I was just wondering what a typical schedule at Georgia Highlands looks like. I will have to drive 1.5 hours each way the first semester and want to make sure I can do this. Also, what is tuition like? I found the fee schedule for the college but it doesn't list any of the nursing fees.

Good luck for Spring 2011. I think the schedule depends on where you will be attending. I will be attending the Marietta campus and will have classes tues/wed/thurs with an online component. Wednesday being the long day. We do not know the clinical information yet. As far as fees, I do not know, but the books first semester are pretty costly because you use most of the books throughout the program, I spent about $800 buying them online. Another cost is the uniforms, and supplies like the stethoscope, BP cuff, etc.

Thank you for the information! I have looked all over the website for GHC and was unable to find some of the information I was looking for. Good luck to you this semester, you will have to let me know how it goes! If I am accepted, I have to decide on working while in school, or just focusing on school. Eeek, I am so nervous. You must be so excited to begin your schooling as a nurse.

Hey guys, I was just able to log onto Vista for the first time, and our courses are up! There isn't much info yet, no reading schedule or anything, but there are some forms up.

Just a heads-up to anyone who wants to check. :)

I'm going to pick up my books, nursing ID, and parking decal in a little bit! So excited!! :yeah:

I am not able to login into vista or my email. Also does anyone else have an issue with not having your schedule posted in SCORE? Mine still has no schedule posted.
