Hey Everyone! I'm just trying to start a thread for those of us wanting to get in to the ASN program at Georgia Highlands this fall!!! I submitted my application in the mail yesterday, and took the TEAS last week.
Anyone know if we will at least get a confirmation of their receipt of our app or anything?
I got a 92 on the TEAS. I tried to calculate my worksheet score but I have no idea what my SAT scores were individually. I know I got an 1890, but that was 6 years ago!
Mail came today and guess what? No letter! I'm really starting to get irritated! I'll give the good Ole U.S. Post Office one more day, and if I don't have a letter by tomorrow I think I'm going to wig out! This is just getting absurd at this point. Originally when I had inquired last semester before the application deadline and ask when letters would be sent out, I was told after fathers day. Now here we are almost into July and no one has gotten their letters yet, if you ask me it's just a tad ridiculous to have to wait this long! Especially when as many of you have stated before, these aren't simple yes/no letters but are actually a list of things we need to get done before enrolling for the fall. Tick tock goes the clock! I'm losing my mind over here!

Agreed USMC. This is the latest as far as I can tell that they've ever been sent out/received... I just simply want to know. It's almost the holiday weekend! And we know we won't get anything then so it HAS to come ASAP!
I'm really banking on something in the mailbox tomorrow. Mind you I live in Cartersville, so it's not like this thing is having to go cross the state to get to me... If I don't have mine by tomorrow I think I'll call the post office and school and find out what the flip is going on. Anyways, I'm done ranting for the day, I'm going to try and not think about this anymore for today as there's nothing we can do about it. I'm praying for all of us! Hopefully at least one of us will have some good news to share with the rest of us by tomorrow!
I called a few minutes ago just to hear them tell it to me. They ASSURED me the letters went out yesterday and that I would know "in the next few days."

I heard they reduced the amount of seats from 80 to 60. It seems like they always change something but never inform anyone. Ugh. Anyways, good luck everyone! Tomorrow should be the day we see letters!
Let's hope and pray today will be the day! I agree with you all.. There is so many things to arrange before we either start nursing school or start regular fall classes. I just want to get things moving and I can't until we receive the dang letters!!
