  1. Hey everyone!! I am just now finding this thread, but glad I did!! :) I was accepted to GBCN for this fall, as well. I can't wait to meet all of you!!
  2. The minimum acceptance score last year was 1029. It raised over 1000 points in one year!
  3. I don't know if they can/would do that, because they are technically a two year school, hence the "bridge" program.
  4. That is crazy!!! I got mine. I didn't get accepted. I'm just under the range. "This year we had an extremely high number of well qualified applicants for our nursing program. Due to the limited number of spaces, there were many qualified students we were not able to accept."
  5. I read that they only accept LPN bridge and medic bridge applicants in the spring. They used to be all together I think.
  6. I know, right?! I have a 10 month old and almost 5 year old. I have to know what I'm looking at here in terms of childcare and my schedule!
  7. I've slept horrible the last two nights!! I'm trying not to think about it anymore.
  8. These classes are all required for my school's ASN or BSN. they may let you take AP1 without college algebra first, but my school wouldn't let you go any further in science until you've finished college algebra. And you'd be surprised at how communications will help you interact and deal with people in the correct way once you're in the field. Sounds silly, but it's for a reason. No one's scamming you. you should be able to pull up your school's catalog and look at the requirements for pre-nursing yourself. I guarantee those classes will be there.
  9. Exactly! It doesn't take this long for a letter to be mailed to somewhere an hour away and in the same state. I'm past irritated that it isn't here today, but if it isn't here tomorrow I'm going to be infuriated. I was SURE it would come today!!
  10. If you tell chatt yes, can you not go back on that? Like if you were to find out from Highlands after. I mean, I understand that's probably rude, but this is your future we're talking about. So do what you have to do!
  11. My thing is that if we don't get them until July (which is now the case...) because of the holiday, the whole first week is blown. So if we find out this week, no one can even start preparing for the program until next week, the second week in July, that gives us what, like 3 or so weeks to prepare? Maybe 4? I have two kids, I have to plan things ahead just so I can leave the house by myself to get a TB test, etc. ugh! Thanks for the vent session. Haha. Someone should say something, but I don't know what or to who!
  12. Neighbor says mail has already run... That means they just skipped my house like they do half the time My mail lady is about to get an ear full about how she gets paid to do her job, so she just needs to do it.
  13. My mail is late today, but how frustrating is that!? I can't believe no one is getting their letters today. Ridiculous. I thought it was weird when I called yesterday and they told me since they were mailed Monday, that we should know "within a few days." It doesn't take a few days to get mail from Rome to Dallas or Cartersville... It takes one!
  14. I called a few minutes ago just to hear them tell it to me. They ASSURED me the letters went out yesterday and that I would know "in the next few days."
  15. Lol, yeah, don't count on it!
