Hey Everyone! I'm just trying to start a thread for those of us wanting to get in to the ASN program at Georgia Highlands this fall!!! I submitted my application in the mail yesterday, and took the TEAS last week.
Anyone know if we will at least get a confirmation of their receipt of our app or anything?
I got a 92 on the TEAS. I tried to calculate my worksheet score but I have no idea what my SAT scores were individually. I know I got an 1890, but that was 6 years ago!
I'm going to go ahead and accept Chatts invitation and if by some huge chance that I got in, then I'll just email Chatt and let them know I've had a change of plans...
It sucks to think if I had applied last year with the very same score, I would have gotten in. My guidance counselor was sure I would get in based off of last year's score range.

Ugh that SUCKS. Yeah they really really gunned up this semester... I am shocked at the range...

Well, I got my notice yesterday. Thank goodness I had already accepted the Georgia Perimeter program because I was denied. My problem with the GHC program was that I was missing the Psych class. Most programs only require it for the BSN, so I had not taken it yet. I also was missing my credit for POLS that I'm taking now during the summer. Both of those are not calculated in at GPC for admission.

FYI accepted score range was 1144 to 1440.13.

I may apply to GPC next year. I was looking online yesterday and it said something about needing Chemistry 1 and 2 as a prerequisite for anatomy?? Does that mean I would have to take Chem to apply to their nursing program? I think I have all the other classes they need.

The minimum acceptance score last year was 1029. It raised over 1000 points in one year!
