Georgia Baptist College of Nursing Fall 2014

Published

Hey Evreyone! I just wanted to get a thread started for those who applies for GBCON's incoming class for fall 2014! I applied just last week and I'm excited to hear back from them! Has anyone else applied or heard back? If you don't mind sharing your stats as well (Teas, GPA) that'd be great too! I applied with a 3.35 and an 81.3 on my TEAS but I think I wrote a really good essay so hopefully that helps some too! I'm also thinking about retaking my TEAS.... I'd love to hear back from you all as we start this process! Thanks and good luck to you all!

Yay, congrats Laura! Manali, I plan to either live on campus or very close by if I can get the finances worked out for GBCN. I am sending in my check and praying for the best, regardless!

Just curious, how old are y'all?

Ok yay I'm only 20 so I was worried I would be the youngest person amongst people who like already had degrees!

There are a lot of traditional students. It's not overwhelmingly 2nd degree/new career folks. At least that was my impression from my visits. It's a nice mix.

Are y'all planning to come to GB or will you go to GRU? I was planning to apply there, but after the nightmare of having to pester my recommenders for my Emory app, having to do so again turned me off. Once I found out I was in for GB, that sealed it for me since it was my #1 choice anyway. Just curious who all I will see in the fall! :)

i am not sure yet, i have to decide by thursday :nailbiting:. i got into gru also and the cost is SO much cheaper there.

I'm 20 and live in Marietta too Laura!!! I'm glad and excited to meet you guys!!! I'm still waiting to hear back from KSU which is where I go now, but Im just so in love with GBCN already :)

Smontg17 I just private messaged you!

It wouldn't let me message you back for some reason :/ but I think I found you on facebook, if not I'm sure I freaked out a different Laura Stanley lol let me know if I found you!

I just got into Mercer as well. Glad to hear there are so many people that got in as well. I'm still waiting to hear from KSU and GSU, but Mercer is so nice, the people there are fantastic.

They truly are unparalleled. After visiting pretty much every BSN program around Atlanta, I can say Mercer really is worlds apart in how they portray themselves and the program to prospective students.

Are any of you all planning on attending the accepted students social on March 14th? They sent out an email :) I'm so excited to meet you all!
