I just did my digital interview! The last question said they review the interviews throughout January so i don't think we will here back till then!

Hey y'all! Just a little heads about about a cpr class that is pretty cheap. Its taking place in Athens and its only 31$. The bls Cpr class that is needed before nursing school starts usually costs around 50-75$ range so if y'all live in or near Athens it could be a good option! you don't have to be in the club to take the class. does anyone have their ghsu email yet to start their gru account? I went by "accepted student checklist" but don't have an email/username assigned to me yet.

ns2016 i got accepted the same day and i have not recieved my letter yet either. Dr.Cook told me it would take 2 weeks. but because of the snow days etc. i am assuming it is going to take a little longer since the offices have been closed. the nursing doesn't send the official letter, it is sent through georgia regents university main school so that process of transferring our nursing acceptance to the actual college acceptance office is prob what's being delayed. I am going to wait till next week to call and ask if there is any problems!

I think we should start a facebook group or something so we could all know some people before classes start! I can't start a group unless I know more then one person apparently. soo if anyone wants to start the group with me, PM me so i can find you on facebook!

oh hmm im not sure because you are right, you send in your deposit after you get the letter but the way she sounded on the phone was that they wouldn't send a letter unless you said yes you were coming...but i mean you could always just say yes you are coming and then not send in deposit and they can't really hold it against you right?

i am not sure yet, i have to decide by thursday . i got into gru also and the cost is SO much cheaper there.

When i was talking to Dr.Cook, who does the phone calls, she explained to me the process. they have meetings in the order received but im not sure what they do when slots fill up. She told me 500 people had applied and they weed that down to 150. They accept a little over that since people say they will come but don't actually end up coming. I am assuming the rest that are qualified get weightlisted. When you get a phone call you only get 1 week to decide if you are going or not. After they get a phone confirmation they mail out official letters.

The next round of calls is on thursday/friday. They have a meeting every thursday where they go through applications and decide. phone calls happen after the calls! They go on till they fill 150 slots. I got an 84% on my teas.

my gpa is a 3.67. My volunteering was just shadowing a nurse at Emory for a day. I was a pre-physical therapy major before i switched to nursing this semester so i have 100+ hours volunteering in hospitals for that.
