Hey Evreyone! I just wanted to get a thread started for those who applies for GBCON's incoming class for fall 2014! I applied just last week and I'm excited to hear back from them! Has anyone else applied or heard back? If you don't mind sharing your stats as well (Teas, GPA) that'd be great too! I applied with a 3.35 and an 81.3 on my TEAS but I think I wrote a really good essay so hopefully that helps some too! I'm also thinking about retaking my TEAS.... I'd love to hear back from you all as we start this process! Thanks and good luck to you all!

Thank you. What was your overall gpa and science gpa?

I applied in december heard back in december.

I have around a 3.55 overall. science gpa - 3.33 teas - 84%

Ok my overall gpa is a 3.427 and science is 3.33 and teas is 80. Do yall think I would get in?

My over all was a 3.38 Science GPA of a 3.33 and a TEAs of 81.3. I also wrote a really good essay which counts too. I'm sure you'll get int though!

I finally submitted my essay, last thing they needed. I think it's pretty good, but you can never truly know. Now comes the waiting, so nerve wracking!!

mine was a page single spaced.

They do not have a limit.

At the open house, we were told they would like it to be a couple pages but if you are able to say everything you need to in one page that is perfectly fine as well. I do not believe there is a maximum. They said they should be able to get a clear picture of who you are from your essay, so whatever length you need to accomplish that is what you should shoot for. Mine was a little over 2 pages double spaced.
