Georgia Baptist College of Nursing Fall 2014

Published

Hey Evreyone! I just wanted to get a thread started for those who applies for GBCON's incoming class for fall 2014! I applied just last week and I'm excited to hear back from them! Has anyone else applied or heard back? If you don't mind sharing your stats as well (Teas, GPA) that'd be great too! I applied with a 3.35 and an 81.3 on my TEAS but I think I wrote a really good essay so hopefully that helps some too! I'm also thinking about retaking my TEAS.... I'd love to hear back from you all as we start this process! Thanks and good luck to you all!

Manali92 I got my acceptance letter in the mail yesterday!!! I'm so excited!!

Smontg17 congrats!! I need to finish my essay ASAP then.. I hope I can get in too!! Should I retake my teas? It's a 76 and you guys all score in the 80s range. Also how long was your essay?

Yay! Congrats you guys! That is great!

I am nervous to apply now! I don't want to apply, get accepted, and then not be able to commit. How long do they give you to pay your seat reservation? When do you have to tell them by?

I was told the most recent entering class had an average TEAS of 82.

they give you one month to pay seat reservation!

smontg17 congrats!!!!!!!!!!! :) Hope to see you in class in the fall!

Thanks everyone!! Hope to see you too manali92!! My essay was about 2 or 2 and a half pages long. And butterfly 2014, what are your other stats like (gps, science gpa)? I would retake it though to maybe get in the 80s

I didn't realize Mercer didn't need Chemistry 1 and 2. I just calculated and its not good at all..

AP 1- C

Ap 2- C+

Microbio and lab A

I'm retaking ap 2 this semester though..and Im retaking the Teas in Feb. I made an A in both my chemistry classes. For the science Gpa do they only weigh AP 1&2 and micro? or all science courses that you've taken?

So Mercer is already accepting people? DO they accept on a rolling basis? I thought the deadline was April 1st!

They accept on a rolling basis.

they only consider 3 courses for science gpa - 2 A&P's and microbiology for the "science gpa"

They accept those who are most qualified right off the bat I heard and save the others for the deadline
