Hey Evreyone! I just wanted to get a thread started for those who applies for GBCON's incoming class for fall 2014! I applied just last week and I'm excited to hear back from them! Has anyone else applied or heard back? If you don't mind sharing your stats as well (Teas, GPA) that'd be great too! I applied with a 3.35 and an 81.3 on my TEAS but I think I wrote a really good essay so hopefully that helps some too! I'm also thinking about retaking my TEAS.... I'd love to hear back from you all as we start this process! Thanks and good luck to you all!

Meg - I'm not sure? I think you can? It's my understanding if you are medically compliant you can go to the orientation of your choice. I am not 100% on that, though, so you may want to check with someone at the school.

Last summer, we were able to choose which orientation we attended, but we had to sign up in advance because they can only accept a certain number of students per orientation. I would double check with Mrs. Flemons or Bailey about it, because I know the school has gotten more strict regarding compliance with vaccinations and might be using it as leverage.

Hmm. The way Bailey made it sound is that the admission department divided our group. She said if I had a preference was to contact them. Guess we'll find out in May.

Got my Hep B titer and it came back nonreactive :( now i have to get all three shots again :/

Varicella came back ok and i have all my other shots other than TB which i have to wait on.

I've heard of quite a few people that had the same result. Makes that hep b series seem like quite the racket!

Atleast the Hep B doesn't hurt. The varicella stings like hell. I just got my first rounds of shots Monday.
