Hey everyone! I thought I would start a new thread for those who have applied to the New Grad Nurse Residency at Georgetown University Hospital for the spring/summer graduates! I graduate in May and this cohort starts July 22nd if I get accpeted! The application opened up on November 16th and I applied right away, really hoping I get it. It sounds like it's a great program. I applied for the NICU, by the way! What units has anyone else applied for so far?

They’ve been saying soon... I hope it actually will be this time!!

I was told they will call us whether it is a yes or a no.

I just called, they said they would call us either today or tomorrow ??

I called and was told that managers are just starting to reach out and that we would know by the end of this week or the beginning of next week.

I GOT THE JOB GUYS!!! They called today and offered me a position in the Neonatal ICU and I accepted!!!

@NewGradRN2019 yeah, I emailed & she said in the next week or so, but it seems so late since we interviewed almost a month ago

@RNBSN2019 I called the Neuro ICU Nurse manager's office directly. They said we would know for sure this week.
