Hey everyone! I thought I would start a new thread for those who have applied to the New Grad Nurse Residency at Georgetown University Hospital for the spring/summer graduates! I graduate in May and this cohort starts July 22nd if I get accpeted! The application opened up on November 16th and I applied right away, really hoping I get it. It sounds like it's a great program. I applied for the NICU, by the way! What units has anyone else applied for so far?

Nope. I was trying to reach out to as many people that I know... has anyone ICU found out? or specialty in general?

The February group of new grad nurses just started, and interviews have been going on for the summer nurse techs, so it is possible Nurse Recruitment and the managers have just been caught up in all that.

I still haven't heard yet, emailed my recruiter yesterday and she said they are just waiting on one more unit to be finalized and then they can start reaching out to candidates but still haven't heard anything ☹️

I hadn’t emailed recruiter until today. Some of the new grads from last summer said they were called. The recruiter said they will be authorized to contact with offers soon. Sounded like within the next few days.
