Hi! I am currently doing my first term at Georgetown and I will back up Sean's statement with how this program is no joke. With that said, I'm learning so much and I believe the price is worth it. This is not the kind of "education" where you are spending 90% your time doing busy work and 10% of your time actually learning (ahem--my BSN education). I have nothing but positive things to say.
I received an acceptance a little less than 2 weeks. I was told that they look at overall cumulative GPA as well as science GPA, but again, they are not the end-all. Good luck!
@AshleyDiane6 how is your application process going? I recently applied to GU also. I also would appreciate any information. I have read every post that has anything to do with Georgetown but there does not seem to be anything set in stone that says exactly what they are looking for. Sooo nervous.
I applied but didn't get in. They had a group meeting with the applicants and presented some info, then the director of the program met with each applicant individually for about ten minutes. I think they also do interviews by phone if you prefer. They are very big on "fit". I didn't get in despite having a 3.9 GPA.

Hello,
I just submitted my application for the Georgetown FNP masters program yesterday and I am already a ball of nerves! I was just wondering if anyone could tell me what the process was like for them or if anyone else is the application process. If you have been accepted how long did it take to get the acceptance letter? Would you be willing to share your experience? What was your GPA like?
Looking forward to connecting with other applicants/students!
