Georgetown Fall 2015 CNL

U.S.A. Washington DC

Published

Hi there, I noticed there wasn't anything out there (that I could find) on the forums for the Georgetown CNL program. It's a new program so that might be why there hasn't been much chatter. Anyway, just seeing who else out there has applied and is interested in the program.

We should make Facebook group for Georgetown CNL so we can share any info! If everyone is okay, I can try to make one. :)

Hey, congratulations to everyone on your acceptances! I received my acceptance on Sunday too and am really excited.

@NAB2043 and @R_4611 I'm from LA too!

Specializes in ER.

We should make a facebook page! :)

That is awesome @minddoong that we, @R_4611, are all from LA!

Can't wait to meet everyone!

Could you DM me?! I am new to this site and I am unsure how to DM people :)

I can't direct message either because I made my account today =/

But I'm really excited to meet everyone!

Yes! Definitely make one if you can!

To those accepted - We just set up a Facebook group under the name

"Georgetown CNL Masters Program 2015".

hey, does anyone know when we'll get the financial aid packages? Or did anyone already see their FA package up on the myaccess website? I know the last email said "will be available soon", but I'm a bit anxious about that - that's the big factor i'm waiting on for Georgetown. If there's no scholarships/grants, there's no way I can afford the $89k tuition on just loans alone....anyone else besides me worried or know whether GU will offer grants/scholarships?

@minddong - thanks for making the facebook group! can't find the group through searching that name on facebook though. did everyone else find it ok?

You can't find the group?!

Try this link: https://www.facebook.com/groups/1427446487559340/

If this doesn't work, PM me so I can help you. :)

The financial aspect is a huge factor for me as well. I also took note of that part in the email where it talked about our online access to our FASFA analysis. I haven't heard anything further though.

Hey guys! I was accepted into UMD which happens to be my 1st choice and the #1 CNL Program in the country (not to mentioned wayyyy more affordable!) so I'm going to forfeit my acceptance to Georgetown. I wish you all the very best of luck in the program and hopefully we might end up co-workers one day!

I contacted the financial aid office and they said that they are currently working on our FA packages and should hear back sometime next week.

I'm really excited about Georgetown. It is a great teaching institution and the town is wonderful.
