Hi there, I noticed there wasn't anything out there (that I could find) on the forums for the Georgetown CNL program. It's a new program so that might be why there hasn't been much chatter. Anyway, just seeing who else out there has applied and is interested in the program.
Ok so I finally got through and spoke with Laura Adams and she did confirm that they are going to try to send out the remaining decisions tomorrow. She also relieved my worry that all of the acceptances were already sent out because they also sent out many rejections that day and apparently there are still many applications that needed to be reviewed by the director.
Also, this was not mentioned on this forum but the program is quite selective. This year's cohort will only have 24 students and over 200 people applied!
I GOT IN!
I'm literally looking at the acceptance email right now! I can't believe it! I'm in tears right now! When Laura told me over 200 applied for only 24 spots, I honestly counted myself out! But I was so wrong and God is so good!
I was expecting to hear from them on Monday but what a great way to end the weekend!
Good luck everyone!
That's awesome! Congratulations, it is a very proud moment indeed. I had already heard about my acceptance before the 24 spots was mentioned on here but ever since I found that out it's just made it seem even more surreal. With admissions being that selective we're bound to be among good company. Once again, CONGRATS! :)
