Has anyone applied to the George Washington University (GWU) Accelerated/Veteran's BSN program for the Spring 2021 cohort?

One of my recommenders submitted my letter of recommendation this past weekend, just in time to meet the priority deadline. I did email and ask when I should expect to hear back. They told me closer to the end of the month. I was also interested in the Washington Squared program, but I didn't receive a separate application or email for it. Hopefully I get in, just waiting to hear back!

I haven't received anything about the Washington Squared. I wonder if they would send like a separate email about the program...

I actually got accepted in the program in Spring 2019. Yes, once admitted, they will provide you the interview dates for the W2. I ended up giving up my spot because I was going through some personal issues. I remember receiving the email on August 13th in 2018- last year, many applicants have received their letter on August 14th. So if history repeats itself, we should hear back next Friday, the 14th or the following week regarding their decision. *fingers crossed*

so when they admit you, if you chose that option on your application they will send you a separate application so you can interview with Medstar! I hope we hear back soonish. are you from the dmv area?

Oh, I didn't apply to that one, just washington squared. No, I'm from Cali ?

Do you guys know how many applicants they accept for each semester?

Also, if I submitted my application on Sat, Aug. 1, would it still count for the priority deadline because I received an email on Sun that says it will take 72 hours to process (or "assigned a status")?

Hey all I am a veteran and I was seeing if any other vets or cali people were applying? Currently in texas but moving back to Cali and will drive cross country if I get in if anyone wants to join haha. I really want to get into so I don't have to apply anywhere else. The cost is prohibitive but hopefully the government got my back.

Hey. I believe its rolling admissions. I applied in April and I found out I was accepted in June but they said that was because I applied through the veteran's application.

Do you thing the post 9/11 will cover all the cost or do you expect you have to take out loans? Also, how long after applying did you hear back for the veteran option?

Hi, Im a veteran (well I will be Sept 2nd) and I'm california also. Im making the drive from California to South Carolina on tomorrow, wish me luck! From my understanding our tuition will be covered because they are a Yellow Ribbon school which will cover the excess cost that the GI bill doesnt cover.

I applied in April and I was accepted in June.

What branch? I got out last year, traveled moved to Texas and now headed back home to wait out applications. If I get in I'm not applying anywhere else. I like that it is covered cost wise and that it's near DC. Maybe too early but are you going to live alone or with roomies..... I hope I get in haha.

Hi everyone! I saw last year decisions came out August 14th, does anyone know if that will be the case this year for the Spring 2021 ABSN Program? Thanks all & best of luck ❤️

Let's hope we have the decisions by tomorrow. I remember a couple of years ago when I got in, I got my acceptance letter around August 12th-13th. Like I've stated earlier on the post, if history repeats itself, we should have the decisions as early as tomorrow... cross your fingers..* Where else are you applying? or have applied?
