Has anyone applied to the George Washington University (GWU) Accelerated/Veteran's BSN program for the Spring 2021 cohort?

I would say to know why you want to be a nurse and what experiences you've had over the years that have made you into the person you are today that would make you a great nurse and how those apply to their values.
Awesome thanks, and how long did it take for you to receive notification of your acceptance after the interview? also do they tell you what department in the hospital you will have a job in?

She said we would get a notification in 1-2 weeks but it took 2 weeks and a couple days. No, its still like other jobs where you have to apply to specialties in the hospital and they don't have Peds or a Psych unit.

okay sounds good thank you! I'm glad its like 2 weeks because I'm not ready to make a decision like 2 days after haha.
Hey Guys!
Congrats to everyone who has been accepted. Just wanted to give an update. I interviewed for the GWU Nursing Scholars Program (similar to Washington Squared) on 2/24 and heard back today (3/4) on their decision. So, for me it was less than 2 weeks to hear back. They gave me a week and a half to sign and send the paperwork back if I choose to accept the scholarship.
I am still waiting to hear back from one other program before I decide, but it is a difficult decision to make because this scholarship helps immensely with the cost of this program, however cost of living in VA/DC area is not cheap either. So, we shall see.
Good luck to everyone! If you interviewed, hopefully you will hear back soon!
