George Mason University FNP Fall 2016

Published

Hi, I am wondering if anyone applied to GMU's FNP program for Fall 2016. Or if anyone is currently enrolled. I am applying and feel a bit nervous/noncompetitive when considering my overall GPA. The website states they want you to have a 3.0 out of 4.0 for the last 60 hours. However, I can't help but think they will also take into consideration overall GPA. Anyway, just wondering other people's thoughts/experiences with this school or admission rate. Thanks.

I wanted to ask if everyone applied for the DNP or the MSN track?

Hey Everyone,

I've also applied and have not heard anything yet! My status also says out of decision. I applied to the FNP program! Good luck to all...if anyone hears anything please update us..and I will do the same!

Has anyone heard anything, I emailed the coordinator for the program over a week ago just to get an update on the process and she never emailed me back. I wonder when we will find out anything? :(

I have also applied MSN-FNP it says Out for Decision and have not heard anything. Will post when I hear. Thanks!

I talked to someone in admissions about two weeks ago. They said they would start actually reviewing the applications for our program April 1. So we should be hearing back any day now!

My status just changed from out for decision to complete. So, maybe we will hear something in the next week or so. Or at least I hope!!!

My changed to complete too! Now i'm really nervous LOL.

Now mine changed back to out for decision lol so I'm just going to let it happen when it happens and try not to think too much about it!

Lol mine did the same thing this morning!

I spoke to someone in the office today. She said they were later than usual because of staff changes in the admissions department. They had expected to do interviews but are not doing that now, she said. She said they are still reviewing the applications and notifications will be sent by email.

Did they give a time frame for the decisions?

she did not give a timeframe.
