Hi everyone! I would like to know of people planning to apply to GMU's absn program or those go have completed the program already. What were your gpas and what is a good score on the Hess entrance exam, especially the A&P section.

Hello all,

Congratulations on your acceptances. If anybody who just got accepted or is currently in the program doesn't mind answering: can someone provide advice on when to submit the application to GMU itself, before applying to the nursing school? I'd like to submit a nursing school application for Fall 2021, but the office of admissions only allows you to submit an application to GMU (not the nursing program) for Fall 2020 right now. Am I supposed to wait until the Fall? Kind of confused on this process.

Thanks girl! So they sent the final decision letter to me via email, and I've attached a screenshot of the decision email below for your reference ? I've also attached a screenshot of the response email I got when I asked a question regarding the wait! Note the part where it says "There is a chance that you can be pulled off the waitlist all the way up until August" ! Hope this helps ease your anxiety at least a lil bit ??I'm sure you'll hear from them anytime soon❤️ p.s. also, try to reach out and express your interest to them as MUCH as you can (I think I emailed them like four? five? times ahahahah)

Quick question. For those of you who are accepted and trying to get ready for school: what are you thinking about books? I saw the email where they decided we have to get the bundle. When I try to purchase from the bookstore it's only giving me the option of buying new, no digital or rent options although when it first shows up in the search it displays a cost range.

I am trying to apply to the GMU nursing program as well. Right now I am completing the general application but I am stuck because I need to submit a resume of why I took a few semesters off (illness). Ideas will be helpful if anyone can relate.

I also wanted to know what the nursing application is like? Do they give you the opportunity to submit a personal essay?
