George Brown or Centennial - RPN to BSCN Bridge for Sept 2021

Published

Hello everyone,

Anyone else applied the Bridge 2021 at George Brown or Centennial?

want to wait for offers with me?

I am wondering if I can hear from past students at either of these two school about their experiences?

When did offers come out? hard to get into? They are both listed as noncompetitive?

Did you like the program? I heard these schools are not really self-directed like McMaster programs, care to share your thoughts?

Thanks in advance.

Hi, I received an email yesterday that they have sent out the offers already for the seats they have for Jan2022, so my application is on the waitlist now even though I meet all the requirements of the program.

I sent my CNO number via email they provided when they asked for it.

Waitlisted for Sep 2021 Centennial RPN to RN hybrid. Anyone else waiting??

Hi there, I applied to Jan 2022 at Centennial for the hybrid but I am writing my license exam in June of this is year so I have to wait. I haven’t checked my application in a month since I figured there would be no updates. I will check mine now!

are you in the same situation as me or are you already licensed?

Also I was wondering how you sent your CNO registration to Centennial? I have yet to figure that out and when I email people from admissions I just get automated responses back.

I am in the same boat as you, I write in June, I have a temp license right now and they will not accept as proof of registration with the CNO because it says I have restrictions as I can only work at the one place. They also told me they do not give conditional offers and have sent out all offers for the Hybrid and flex programs for Sept 2021 and Jan 2022, so we are all wait listed ?

Hi, does anyone know an active group for people starting RPN in George brown this May 2021, also need advise on what to expect and how to better prepare myself.

Can you start a new thread for this conversation please. makes the original thread get lost and hard to follow the conversation. Thanks

Hi everyone, has anyone heard anything from centennial for flex Jan 2022 and hybrid may 2022

I think its to early for thoses? I applied as well and have not heard anything as of yet.

Hi everyone!

I haven’t heard back yet either but I’m still waiting for write my CPNRE LOL mine is booked for June 11th but I have a temporary license so I’m not sure if I should send them that or?

I heard the January 2022 is waitlisted already from another forum on this website.

If you guys are looking for part time RPN to RN bridge have you looked into Nipissing? I am applying there as well. They also have January and September 2022 start dates and it’s all online with clinical placements. Huge benefit to that program is you don’t need to get accepted into Ryerson like you do for centennial and George brown. So you only need to get accepted into year 1 and that’s it.

I am waitlisted for jan 2022 . Email states that they have filled all the seats for jan 22, so I have to wait until someone drops or doesn’t accept the seat. It’s first come first as well, so there might be other people waiting ahead of me. I have no idea what my chances are. It’s very frustrating. It’s like we want to move forward with our career in Nursing but these colleges are holding us, even though, most of us meet all the requirements.

I am also writing my cpnre in June. I doubt they are going to accept the temporary licence.

I am looking to apply to January 2022 for nippising. I am not sure if the application is open yet. have you applied? I also heard that you can finish fast in 3 years if you take more courses as opposed to the 5 years stated.

its soo frustrating having to wait, are you licensed already or also waiting to write the cpnre. If you are how did you send your proof of registration with CNO to them.

I am registered with CNO already. I emailed them my registration number. Send an inquiry email to nursing admissions and wait for there reply. That’s what I did.
