Hello everyone,
Anyone else applied the Bridge 2021 at George Brown or Centennial?
want to wait for offers with me?
I am wondering if I can hear from past students at either of these two school about their experiences?
When did offers come out? hard to get into? They are both listed as noncompetitive?
Did you like the program? I heard these schools are not really self-directed like McMaster programs, care to share your thoughts?
Thanks in advance.

I have been keeping up with these forums and they've been helpful so I wanted to share with you guys some information that I've come across. I recently graduated from the RPN program at GBC this April.
Apparently some applicants applied for the bridging program in their 3rd semester (they are graduating at the end of the Summer) and have been accepted into the bridging program already... without having even finished the program!
I also have a friend that told me she knows someone currently in semester 4, finishing the program, that has been accepted with a cumulative GPA of 2.8......
I know that GBC ranks their applications on a basis of first come first serve, and alot of us applied later. But I don't think its right that these students that haven't even finished the program yet have gotten offers meanwhile some of us graduates are still waiting for responses.
I personally got rejected with a GPA of 3.0 and no repeated courses. I had some trouble in semester 2 and my cumulative avg was really affected by that one semester ? I emailed them to ask why people with lower GPAs than mine have gotten in and they avoided my questions.
If anyone knows anything please let me know!
Best of luck and I hope you all receive offers soon. Getting rejected is kind-of devastating.
Umm I don't think this is totally true.. I applied October 3rd, 2020 the day registration opened and I too am still waiting. My GPA is over 3.0 and I finished in April as well; just a different school. I think a lot is based on the Casper test then anything else. I am told my application is still being considered throughout the application cycle (which goes until August I am told) because my casper results; while I passed, is not competitive with others they received... so here I sit to wait...

I received an email a few days ago that I wasn't accepted into the Sept intake at Centennial.
Does anyone know where I can find the CPRNE prep guide 1, 2, or 3?
Happy studying!
Me too.... ?

Send me your email and I will send you the CPNRE guides that I have..

Hey MOMTRON,
I found them in a different forum on this site, but thank you anyway!
My friends who wrote their exams in the first 2 weeks of June received their results a few days ago. But my friend who wrote hers on June 24 hasn't received anything yet, and neither have I (July 1).
I believe you can get a temporary license if you've met the CNO requirements, have an offer of employment, and have yet to write your registration exam.
There's more information here from the CNO: https://www.cno.org/en/become-a-nurse/new-applicants1/temporary-class/the-temporary-class/
