dear nurse,

we want to inform you about the exciting news regarding the ability of geolearning centers to assist nurses to immigrate in the united states. we have partnered with geonurse - a direct employer of nurses in the united states and nclexquizbank - online review for foreign nurses, to offer filipino nurses the most affordable means to fulfill your dreams of becoming a nurse in the united states.

for the first time in three years, geonurse has opened its doors for applicants into its geonurse associate program (gnap)!!! they have made this decision based on the current critical nursing shortage in the united states, and they are actively recruiting nurses for an expected opening of immigration later in 2010. our partnership is that, they will only accept new candidates who have become nclex-qualified as a result of graduating from any of the geolearning centers' review programs. gnap nurses will have all of their immigration processing paid for by geonurse, and they can select employment from any of the 14 hospital affiliates of geonurse in the united states][/b]. with geonurse,

- no fees to pay

- no hospital experience required

- no salary deduction

- reimbursement of exam fees

geonurse's managing director will be travelling to manila later this year to meet all students who are enrolled at geolearning centers for initial interviews into the gnap program.

You are welcome Glazed, I am sorry that companies take advantage like this because when the ball falls immigration do not care what you was told but that you should know the right way yourself.

Just to add also going through standard processing doesn't take years but will take a few months and could take up to 12 months and have heard of only one case that took 18 months and know one knows why.

hello guys, i too was then called by the geonurse staff because i happen to register to the pamphlets they've posted in one of the hospitals in which i had my screening exam. They told me that they are like a review center for nclex and ielts, but that time i have scheduled my nclex exam already and told them that i'll think about reviewing for ielts to them after if ever i pass nclex. and now that i already passed my nclex( as in super freshly passed nclex) i am thinking of reviewing there for ielts...do you think that their offer was too good to be true?..they called me last week and told me also that there will be signing of letter of commitment when i enroll and will be interviewed by their CEO..so, my fellow nurses what do you think?.

does anyone of you knows what's inside that, letter of commitment?..thank you..

Does anyone here, who was interviewed by the CEO?

I've been to GeoLearning. It was a review center set up by Geo Nurse to train and educate nurses to go to the USA. Geo Nurse is incorporated in Florida but serves hospitals all over the USA.

I think that they were using the EB3 visa for nurses in areas with extreme nursing shortages; but the last I heard that visa was suspended in December 2009 so I don't know what they are using now.

If they process you through on a migrant visa, be aware that you may be able to get that migrant visa from someone else without binding to any kind of contract.

Talk to an immigration attorney based in the USA before signing any contracts binding you with the promise of a migration visa.

Don't sign any contracts unless you are completely sure that you want to be tied down to that company. What if you get another opportunity and the contract keeps you from taking it?

be careful and be aware.

Thanks for the info.I'm planning to have my review there..

@felicitypaul

hi..so have you already inquired there?..how was it/?..tnx..

Yes, I already inquired there, but waiting for them to lower their review fees for both NCLEX and IELTS...

There's no harm in trying..since I don't have any hospital experience so I need to grab their opportunity....
