I am. I read 3 and a half chapters ysterday of the 12 I have to read by Monday......today I am going to try to read up to 7 or 8 if I am really ambitious. Plus I have to write about 40 drugs.......I am proud of myself for reading as much(lol) as I have though...........I'm slowly starting to feel that sense of accomplishment I get when I do my best in nursing school.....I feel good that I am utilizing this weekend to read this stuff......since classes dont start til Monday, I feel like I am getting ahead, even though my instructors will dump m with more work on Monday, so I will be ahead until 8:00am Monday morning! I'm trying to stay motivated.........I really want to do better this semester than I did last semester, so I am determined to read this stuff. :coollook:

Me!!!

I am cleaning my house this morning, then reading for next week. I finished last weeks reading last night so I am going to try and get a jump on next week. I have to write a paper and I have no idea of how to do it. It is a paper about a health history interview I did on a classmate. I am supposed to write subjective and objective data about our interview and back it up with items from our textbook. I do not feel competent enough to draw any conclusions from our conversation besides saying that she looks healthy and I believe everything she says. We have these papers due every week, but the first one is always the hardest because you don't know what is expected of you.

OOh! Me! I have been assigned to read 4 chapters in my psych book for Tuesday. So far I have read 2 chapters, outlined them with typed up notes, done the study guide questions, and placed them in my binder. I am halfway through with the third chapter. I hope I can finish this weekend. It feels so good when you actually do all the crap they tell you to do.

Is there ever a time when I'm NOT doing homework? Well, okay, last night, because my brain went on strike. (Just completed my first week (LPN) and haven't adjusted to things quite yet.) Goals for the weekend are to read ahead for the week in one book, study for my first test on Monday, and get caught up on making flash cards.

I've been reading on and off today ad now I halfway through chapter 5 which is fairly interesting so far......and I have 7 more chapters to go! And I didnt fall alseep this time..yet.Making some progress!

ME! But not right now.....

I have an exam in nursing Monday on Med Admin, a competency check off on Meds Tuesday, and an A&P exam Friday.......

......just a typical week!

Oh yeah, me too. I spend 2-3 hours on it and then come on here to clear my head, then go back to it, then do some laundry, then go back to it, then eat a sandwich, then go back to it, then come back here, then go back to it... Come to think of it, my life kinda sucks.

Not homework - just cleaning off my bookshelf, and trying to get pages and pages of syllabi and course notes organized before class begins on Monday! :)

Me too picked up about 50 books on Friday and have had my nose in them all weekend, boy how does everyone take in so much infomation my brain is so dead now and I have to study more today. Classes start tomorrow (Lab) and I too am trying to get a head start...it does seem like you have so life!!! :o

I'm sick as a dog at the moment, so am starting my reading in dribs and drabs. Fortunately, my classes don't start until the 18th. Better sick now than then.
