The University is considering to take me for the fall.

Hey Guys,

I am finally rejected from the community college because I do not have $22,000 in my bank account as an international student, now I am back at the university begging them to accept me in the nursing program for the fall, since I have completed all my prerequisites for the BSN program and have reached a dead-end with the community college.

The dean told me that she will consider my application as they are reviewing some applications for the fall. Please pray for me because I need to get in for the fall, my financial resources is very low and as you know as an international student I do not get financial aid. I know that God has a plan for me because I have been working on getting in the nursing program for almost one year now.

Please, please pray for me, I need it badly.

I hope everything works out for you. I will keep you in my prayers. Keep knocking on doors until you get the answer you want. Keep being persistant it will pay off. Seriously keep at them and it will work out. You have come to far to let have anything other than a nursing degree happen. Janice

I've been reading about your predicament for a while now. I wish you luck in your search for a school without a waiting list. I know how hard it is to be waiting and wondering...

it's so very hard for you, and for everyone else who is waiting.

I have a dear friend who is an international student.... and does not have to have money in the bank to be accepted.... could you explain this rule to me?

Also, you may want to see if your university has a workstudy program, as international students ARE allowed to work at their schools.... it might help you to support your kids.

To go to another school apart from the university one is enrolled, you have to produce a statement with $22,000, or try to get a sponsor as an international student. Another thing, I have to be enrolled at the school fulltime whether or not I am accepted in the nursing college. It is very hard to get a job on campus and I am not allowed to work off campus by the immigration department.

Sometimes I feel very depressed that I want to jump over a cliff, but when I come here everyday, I realise that there are people here who support me emotionally. I have no relatives here and so I come here three times per day just to regain strength to carry on. You people have helped me so much, it is more than what one can imagine.

Thanks to you all and keep up the good work. You are all the internet friends I have.
