Tape Recorder

Hello Everyone,

What kind of tape player have you used? Trying to decide what kind to purchase.

Suggestions Please!!!

Thanks

I use a Sony microcassette recorder. I buy the 90 minute tapes and run it on slow speed and I get 180 minutes out of it that way.I bought it at Walmart last year. It has a good quality sound to it. If my cassette player in my car worked, I'd have bought a recorder that plays the regular sized tapes, so I could listen to my lectures on my drive to and from school (an hour each way). Hope this helped you.

I use a Sony microcassette recorder.

I also have a Sony. Sometimes if I have a lecture with background noise it is helpul to use some ear phones. I don't have to turn it up as lound (it doesn't hurt my ears as bad). You could always play it in your car, I have done that.

I have the Sony as well and have found that if you use the microphone that comes with it while taping, the background noise seems less. You are right though, it is helpful to wear headphones when playing it back. It has been a good recorder. Hope this helps! Good luck!

I have the Sony & the 90 minute cassettes which actually last 180 min also.

I also bought the tape recorder that tapes on regular size cassettes...I have yet to use it though. I like the Sony microcassette.

Definetly the micro-cassette. I don't know about your instuctors, but ours feel that it is just fine to sit in the same spot for three hours straight!! LOL! I record everything so I can take my "break" when I feel that I need it and don't miss anything!
