Hi all

i'm 34, married have 3 boys and a final year paediatric student nurse. It has been hard work but all worth while. I hope one day i will be able to come and live in USA and work as a paediatric nurse.

Hope to make some new friends so if anyone wants to contact me please do. I will look forward to hearing from you. :)

uk_nurse Welcome. Where in England are you from? I bet it is bueatiful there

i'm from Birmingham. It is ok here. Weather is awful most of the year. Don't really have much of a summer. I would love to come to America it sounds a fab place to be. :)

uk_nurse I am in Indiana, love it here. Was born in NY. The weather is so lovely here. IM or send email private if you wanna chat

i know what IM is now...sorry but is that with AOL if so i havent got that :(

I am 29 married with 3 boys and I thank God he has allowed me the strength to go back to school after these few years. Went to college at the age of 18 but all I did was party. Thank God for Grace and Mercy. I admire everyone on this BB that is going back to school and reaching for the stars. Everyone continue to hang in there. HATS OFF TO ALL OF THE STUDENT NURSES AND NURSES.

MAY GOD CONTINUE TO BLESS US ALL!

SHUNDA

I CAN DO ALL THINGS THROUGH CHRIST THAT STRENGTHENS ME!

:) :) :) :) :)

I can't believe this. I am having such a hard time with Elementary Algebra.I have to pass this test or I will not be admitted into the nursing program!!!!!!!!!!

Are there no men inbetweeners? I am a 29 (soon to be 30)years old. I am married to my best friend, 7 wonderful years now. She thinks she may start in the nursing field as a LPN when the boys start back to school. She has been a housewife since we were married and has really taking to my nursing books. Two great children (6 and 4), or at least I think there great, haven't seen them much lately. I am first year with 2 to go for my ASN degree. I work full time and school full time. I see my family on Sunday if I'm lucky. I agree that this is one of the hardest things I have ever had to do. But, when I see the families faces and know I will be able to provide better for them when it's over, it makes it worth it.

Wow you are busy, but you are also very fortuniate to have a supporative wife & family. Good luck and God Bless

Lisa

Hi guys! I'm 30, married for 11 yrs, 2 boys (4 and 7) and in the fall will be 2 semesters away from finishing the ADN program!!! (Doing my happy dance). Can't tell you how glad I am to have found this place. No one would understand all the things we have to go through except a fellow student. We've all been there done that. I think I got over my "guilt" on the family time. I believe in quality and not quantity and I believe I give that. I've had a year to practice so I'm getting close. I also have a workaholic spouse so I'm pretty much doing everything but make the $$$ (yet!) But when he's here, he's here doing everything.

Take care,

Marlo
