I was a single mom when I went through my LPN program. It was tough, but I made it through, as well as getting on the Dean's list every semester.
I worked 16 hr shifts every weekend to support us. I would study and let my daughter color in my books while I did. She loved it, and I felt like we were still able to spend time together.
It's tough, but definitely possible. Good luck!!
I'm a single mom of an 8 year and just finished my 2nd semester. Its hard but it can be done! I also work between 30 and 50 hours depending on the week. Luckily I work from home so I am able to get that done on odd hours usually when he's at school or sleeping. The key is all organization. I have a planner and plan out everything in advance.
I will be starting the Nursing Program August 21st. I will be working full-time(I have no choice) for a steady income to provide for my kids and pay bills that will never go away. I would like to receive some encouragement and want to know if there is anyone else that will be going through nursing school as well as working full time that is a single parent. Any advice that you can give will be greatly appreciated. I do not want to fail and I do understand it will be a challenge. My kids are 2 and 4
I am a single mom as well BUT I have an AMAZING family that helped me, without them I would've never made it through this journey. I truly don't know how single moms without any support do it, but I've seen it and it can be done. Women with 3-5 children and no family to lean on. Best of luck!

I am a single mother of a 2 year girl and four year old boy. Just curious to hear any testimonies of other single mothers that went through nursing school as a single mother and working. If you would like to share your stories. I already know it is going to be a challenge, but it will all be worth it in the end!
