"Don't let the fear of the time it takes to accomplish something stand in the way of your doing it. The time will pass anyway; we might just as well put that passing time to the best possible use." --Earl Nightingale
Very positive quote. I thought it was my time to share it with you all. My father called yesterday and told me this is so many words, and then my friend emailed me the quote today. (She had no idea I had already spoken with my father about this matter) So that means that God has a message for me. And it is my job to share it with you all, as some of you may need to hear this right now. Have a good day :)
jemommyI thank you so much. This quote and the others were right on time. I have been searching for motivational quotes to keep me going. Just something to be able to ponder on that can help me hold up my chin one more day. Please keep this thread going. God Bless you jemommy.
:)
Thank you sooooo much smiley student. I am extremely happy to help. I need these from time to time myself. :kiss
What about this one:
"Success is the best revenge"
"When Life gives you lemons, make lemonade. :)
"The greatest discovery of any generation is that a human being can alter his life by altering his attitude." - William James
"The differnce between an ordeal and an adventure is attitude" [sorry, can't source it]
"The hardest part of doing anything is making the decision to do it." - Dr. Duncan
"A Journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step."
I just couldn't resist replying to this one - as my signature would suggest I'm into oddball quotes . . .
"The journey of a thousand miles sometimes ends very, very badly"
[Picture a salmon leaping triumphantly out of a sparkling stream into the wide-open jaws of a grizzly bear]
Mostly I cope with humor, trying not to take myself too seriously.
good day all
here's one....
the road
the road to success is not straight.
there is a curve called failure, a loop called confusion, detours called friends, red lights called enemies, yield signs called family. as well as flats called delays.
but, if you go down the road having a spare tire called determination, an engine called perseverance, insurance called faith, and a map called focus; you will make it to a place called success.
the road to success is not straight.....
have a great thanksgiving everyone,
