nursing majors shouldn't be eating donuts?

I'm really hurt and embarrassed.

I was in a study group with my math professor and I got really hungry. I didn't want to leave to go all the way to the dining hall to get something "healthy" to eat 'cause I was afraid I'd miss something in my group, so I went to the vending machine just outside the room and got a donut. When I came back in the room (I had already had a bite of the donut) my professor looked up and said, "that's nice, a nursing major eating a donut." I almost died. Everyone looked at me and said nothing I was really embarassed 'cause I am a little overweight and I realize that wasn't a healthy choice, but it really made me feel bad.

yeah seriously what a complete idiot i cant believe anyone would say that but you know those people are just so unhappy with their lives that they have to try to bring other people down to their level, believe me when i say this, dont even think about it twice he doesnt live in reality:( and you will be a wonderfull nurse:nurse:

UGH! what a jerk! I woulda probably pulled my diabetic thing.. "freakin idiot my blood sugar is low.. back off" but honestly.. shoulda invited him to come visit nursing school... wonder how many students pick up smoking while in school? a LOT.. that's worse than a freakin donut. I'm sorry... I am honestly glad it wasn't me, because my sarcastic mouth woulda got me in trouble. I know it's hard because it would be hard for me, but try not to let it bother you. People are CONSTANTLY on me for eating something "aren't you diabetic? You can't eat that!" totally different concept, but at first when it started i honestly cried Shoulda given him the fish to the face ----> :trout:

You weren't shooting heroin, smoking a joint, or slashing your wrists. The professor is a nutball! Nurses eat dougnuts, coffee,booze and fast food. We come in all shapes and sizes. Some of us smoke cigarettes, eat poorly, are overweight, thin, inactive, athletic, health nuts, etc... gosh, just like real people! Don't let a squirl ball with an off the wall comment change the way you feel about youself or anything else. Ignoring the crazies now is good practice for the future, there are a lot of them out there. The only person you have to please is you.

Hmmm a math teacher making smart-@ss comments? SHOCKING! It never ceases to amaze me that people do not use the good sense god gave them. Why would you comment on something like that?
