Hi, all!
I took the NLN RN entrance exam w-a-y back on 1/4, and finally got my scores this weekend! The wait was horrid!
I was concerned because I didn't have enough time to finish the math, but my scores came back just fine: 146/200 raw score, 98th percentile in verbal, 95th percentile in science, and 72nd percentile in math . . . composite of 98th percentile (wish I knew how they figured that--there must be some very funky weighting system?) I needed a minimum of 50th percentile in each section to even be considered by my top choice school--so I'm thrilled! My GPA is solid and my references are great, so my fingers are crossed for acceptance. The program I want to get into accepts only 1/9 applicants! They'll start calling for interviews on 2/28 . . . so I get to wait some more, then you hear within three weeks after the interview.
I also started A&PI this week with an excellent prof who's making it fun! (I have A&PI&II and Micro left before the nursing classes). AND my dad had surgery this week, so I got to hang out in recovery for most of Thursday and watch those nurses in action . . . that was awesome, too!
