I live in Michigan, near Metro Airport. I attended Henry Ford Community College I graduated in 1998 with an Associate Degree in surgical technology. I've been working in the O.R. and will be finished with my ADN program in 2003!!!! Med-surg I will be over the end of April!!!!! Chat with you soon!

nice to meet you both....I'm in Northern MI, attended MidMichigan Community College. I graduated in 1999, got my first nursing license in the State of TN and promptly moved back to MI and recieved my license Jan 2000. I haven't decided to move on to RN yet....eventually I will. Hi everyone:

just joined this site and am enjoying every moment and word I read(better than nursing theory class). I am in 2nd of 5 semester ADN-RN program at Washtenaw Community College in Ann Arbor. Three more weeks and I am off til the end of August(except for my AMUST, CPR, and TB testing). It is great to be in touch with soulmates. The WCC program is awesome and the instructors are great...keep up the good work and see you in the trenches.

I attend WCCC to take my prerequisites now, because it is cheaper for me. The Henry Ford Comm College LPN- RN program seemms like it is easier to get into. Lesser prerequisites required and the location is convenient. I hope I get a spot this fall! If anyone ever attended HFCC RN program please let me know your experiences.

Hi Starr234. I am in the ADN program at WCCC (western campus). My reasons for attending WCCC are the same as yours MONEY and it's closer to home than HFCC is. I've talked with a few nursing students about HFCC and I have a friend who went through thier program. Any specific questions you have... I can ask my friend and get back with you.
