Long road! You don't know what that is:D I Started a LPN program in 1969. I graduated as an LPN in 1999. I started a ADN program in 1971 I graduated from an ADN progam in 2001.
I'm know at the registrar's office, finincial aid office etc. by the number of transcripts I have. I think last count was 8.
I'n now working on my BSN. Guess how old I'll be when I get my MSN!
Hang in there you will make it. Without taking 30 years to do it. It is worth it.
:) I'm also 26 and seeking my BSN. I'm starting my pre-reqs in Jan. I also have a long road ahead of me. Working full-time, 4month old daughter, fiance, and everything else that comes along in life. But hey thats LIFE!! :) I'm finally mentally ready to do this and succeed!! I can't begin to tell how many times I have changed my major! But here I am again and determined.
Good Luck and you can always come here for support! I have found it informational, supportive and relaxing too.
Make it a Great Day!!
Welcome,
I am a newcomer myself after a few months of lurking. One thing I have noticed about this BB is (compared to others) everyone is very courteous and kind to each other. Oh once in a while--not, but for the majority YES! I admire that more than anything with these posters.
;)
So...pats on the back to all you wonderful, caring people who bring compassion and understanding to the world around you!!!
Your posts let me know there are many great nurses out there and many who will be!!
