I'm Currently in my second placement on a private surgical ward and from this expirience i know i dont want to specilise in this the pace is very slow! 1st placement was on a NHS medical ward and although it near killed me with the pace i would rather be busy then sit around all day not interacting with patients! (sorry digressed). Think Community or sex sense would be more my bag! Am loving making the move to become a nurse roll on my passport to the world!

I work nightshift as a Nurse Tech on the Med/Surg floor at the local hospital. I would like to work in the ED when I finish school. I spent a lot of time there as a clerk and really liked the environment.
Anyone familiar with Ivy Tech Bloomington?

My name is Dawn. I am a 41 year old, mother of 3 teenagers. My oldest is headed off to college in August. Imagine that, my child attending school and I can't even finish. I am an online student of TAMU-CC. I keep slowly plugging along and know that one day, I will finish. I think that when I actually do finish school, I will not have a clue what to do with myself. I have been a student for so long. :smackingf
I look forward to meeting others here.
