I didn't pass my final... therefore I didn't score a high enough average to pass the class... therefore as of today i have been officially removed from the nursing program. I THINK I AM GOING TO DIE !!!!
This is so heart breaking for me. I applied to 6 nursing schools and this is the only program that accepted me. Now this opportunity is over.
Oh dear! This is a hard time for you, but we believe in you and we know you can get through it.
I had to drop out of a BSN program in 1988 because of finances, and I was devastated. But then I realized something--I had accomplished something--I got a lot of my Gen Ed credits out of the way, and that counted when I was eventually able to go to nursing school in 1997.
Take it one day at a time. In this business, you hafta kinda put the hip boots on and slog through some stuff to survive.
Good luck, we're all here for ya!
gee, brian, ya think maybe someone will one day make a nice "huggie" smilie? all this kissing, people are going to think i'm weird or something.... :chuckle
The only way you can fail is if you do not keep working at it until you achieve your goal.
You are not alone. I and others have been where you are at. You can do this. I know it feels terrible right now. That is a feeling it is not the facts. Keep at it and you will achieve it. Stop and you guarentee failure.
It is not easy but your victory will be all the sweeter for the adversity.
:kiss
I know your upset; and you don't want to wait until Spring to take it again. Can you take another class somewhere else in the fall that will transfer to your BSN program? Don't give up hope; look at all your options. The things that come easy in life usually aren't worth it. If you really want this you will find a way to make it work. Let us know.
