I'm not sure I understand your question. If you're using flashcards, the best way to know them is through repetition. Just keep looking at them and quizzing yourself.

I've noticed you ask a lot of questions on basic studying techniques. Ones you should have picked up by the time you got into nursing school. Its not that I mind answering questions but the questions you ask could be answered by a quick 5 second google search as there is alot out there on test studying techniques.

I think she just wants to know how everyone else does it, that is all.

I have to agree with the above poster. The way I use note cards, is to just keep looking over them until I memorize them. Another way I memorize, is just by writing stuff over and over..if will eventually stick.

Good luck

Flash Cards....repetition is definitely the key...keep doing it over and over and over.....that is all I can suggest! And try to come up with unique ways or funny ways that will make you remember the ones that you have problems with.

The above posters are right on with quizzing yourself and also writing things down...

Another key is to not memorize the information, but rather learn the information and understand it.

It will help you remember it better, and you'll be able to use that knowledge and build on it down the road.

I agree with the above posters. To really learn the material you need to understand it and know how to apply it. Once you understand what you're studying, repeating it just drills it in better.

yes I was just trying to ask how everyone else is doing it, I am not asking someone to do homework for me or anything like that I was just asking for suggestions..........................Perhaps I should just stop posting :twocents:

No reason to be like that. You've cleared up some confusion and all is well. No need to stop posting :)

The above poster does raise a good point though. The search button is your friend. So many things get asked over and over and over. A little investigative work can usually answer most questions.

I guess something else obvious is...how did you memorize the first 71? Are you running low on time and stressed out about only knowing half of your deck? What's on these flashcards --- are they easy to look at one at a time? Can you take them everywhere with you and have the willpower to pull them out say, at the grocery store checkout line instead of skimming the tabloids?
