I got a letter today in the mail. I have to sign a Financial aid contract which is copied below.

FINANCIAL AID CONTRACT

Your appeal for financial aid reinstatement has been approved based on the following conditions. You must sign and return this form indicating your acceptance of the terms in order for your eligibility to be reinstated. An extra copy is enclosed for your file.

I agree to the following terms in order to receive Financial Aid following my appeal for reinstatement of aid eligibility.

I understand that I must complete all courses for any term including the current term with a "C" or better, based on enrollment at the end of week one.

I understand that withdrawing from any courses after the end of the first week of classes will cause immediate loss of aid the following semester.

I understand that I must maintain a 2.0 term GPA and cumulative GPA.

I understand that the loss of aid will occur in any terms where the above conditions are not met.

I understand that I will continue on financial aid suspension until such time as I achieve a 2.0 cumulative GPA and have completed 50% of all program courses started.

I already meet 95% of the requirements and having to beg and humiliate myself to get the help I need. I don't think I will drop classes. My 50% mark will be reached in May of 2004.

I still don't know how much I qualify for, but it's better than nothing!!!

Congrats! I've had my own FA demons here recently, but have overcome the difficulties. I also had to appeal their decision to deny me financial aid. It's a bother, but the only way to get anything done is to stay on them because no one really cares.
