Did you have to write essays in A&P I? I am curious because the prereq for this course is English 101.

If so, on what subject and how many pages?

i'm presently retaking(!) physiology online and I have to submit essay questions in this course. Want to make sure you understand and can explain how the systems work and such. As a matter of fact, the phys course I took at our local CC had essay questions as well. So in answer to your original question, the answer is yes. Whew...don't mind me. I'm sooo tired. :stone

A&PI was one of my pre-reqs and yes I did have a "report" to write. However, instead of a long paper our instructor just had us outline a couple of chapters.

we had to do a 20 minute presentation on a chronic illness, along with an appendix and outline.

our anatomy and physiology are seperated, but i am taking anatomy right now during the summer. :rolleyes: and let me tell you, all we do is write papers. our class is 2 days a week for 3 hours at a time and lab follows immediately after for 2 more hours.:uhoh3: at every lab we have a 750 word report due on whatever material we will be going over in that lab that day. our instructor gave us a book the first day with all assignments scheduled so we know what we have to write on for that lab. like tomorrow i had a 750 word report due on epithelium locations and functions. this one was pretty easy but looking ahead some just seem unreal. the part i hate is the drawings during lab. i can't draw a straight line w/ a ruler..:imbar :rotfl: my entrance to the program this fall is contingent upon getting a c or better in this class so i'm studying like crazy when it comes to anatomy. i have all a's and 2 b's so far....but anatomy is a whole other ball game....lol good luck in your class!

wow! good luck to you! how many weeks do you have left of anatomy?

7 more weeks. It's so crammed cause it's a summer course but since I got accepted into the program sooner than expected I had to take anatomy this summer. (Not complaining, it's better than being on the wait list for 2 years..)If it doesn't kill me, I'll survive...lol

We usually had 2-3 essay questions on our tests but we didn't have to write any papers.
