Anybody work for a Tenet owned hospital? How are they with staffing and education for staff? Do you have Nurse Educators?

Renee I am sorry that happened to you. Hugs,

Thanks renerian. Have you ever wanted to put a "physical face" to the companies that shirk their responsibilities when employees of places they own are injured or abused? I wonder sometimes if they are ever affected by it all.

Get help for your emotions, and stick it to this guy. As long as you let your emotions rule you on this, justice will never be done. He will do it again, and again. Be strong and go for it. This is his fault, and clearly not your fault. Deal with the hospital as well, as long as we nurses let folks get away with this kind of stuff, we will never be respected. Some of us never have to walk in the fire, and some of us do. When you are put in this position you have to see it through. I've been there, and it is so worth it see justice done.

I was told I had seven years to file a lawsuit. I have to obtain an attorney willing to take on Tenet since Tenet is ALWAYS in court, so there's a LOT of people waiting in line to get at Tenet. I was offered another travel contract at another Tenet facility in a different state when I left California, and I quickly said NO WAY!!! Several CA lawyers told me I had a bonafide case, but "there wasn't enough money in it for them" and that was the only reason they wouldn't take the case.

Didn't mean to high-jack the thread, but whenever I hear or read anything about Tenet, I relive that nightmare all over again. :sniff:

I worked for Tenet for several years as a floor nurse. Floor nurses were already cut to the bone when they got there. They did cut administration alot though. Head nurses ended up with multiple floors to run and all educators lost there jobs. They cut social workers and case managers so they had multiple floors too.

I work for Tenet as a Nurse Tech and the work load is not pleasant at all!
