What is your Allnurses.com surfing style? I tend to be systematic about everything. First I check my favorite areas, then the new posts. Seems to be snowballing, though, soon I'm going to be checking every section! How often do you post? Everytime regardless, only when you have something profound to say, only when in the mood, rarely, Never?

I subscribe to the threads I'm interested in and click on the link in my e-mail to catch the latest.
Then I go to the main page and see whats new. If the thread is something I want to follow I'll subscribe to that thread too.
Then I'll go to the general discussion just to see if there is anything I've forgotton about.
When I'm not sitting here (cooking dinner etc...) I'll just wait for the e-mails to roll in and that keeps me in touch with my main threads.
ok, ok...I'm addicted!!

ps: I will subscribe to THIS thread too.

I've never subscribed to anything. My home page is the main page and I just immediately click onto today's threads and look to see what looks good.
Then I'll go back and look at other forums if I have time.

My home page is the "Today's Active Threads" page. I'm here often enough :uhoh21: that I usually only have to go back 2, maybe 3 pages to catch up. This way I see all of the threads, I don't have to keep going back & forth.
I didn't post very often when I first came here. I'm shy ya know :chuckle
But now... hubby asked me how many posts I had at my BB, as he wanted to compare it to his own. When I told him, he called me a "post whore."
He's just jealous.

It's a guy holding a great big p... er, um.... kitty.
LOL Heather - you rock.
I used to have "today's threads" as the home page, but I always got an "invalid thread..." error message so I had to click the "today's threads" anyway. But it's okay... It's a *good* kind of tired. You know?
It's just a HUMONGOUS p.... I mean, kitty, isn't it?
Dennie, I believe that's the biggest p... um, kitty I've ever seen!
And that's coming from an OB nurse, so you know it's BIG!
LOL - Wow.
Reminds me of when my youngest sister went for her first prenatal visit with her first daughter. The doc measured her and said she shouldn't have any problems, and my sister looked at him and said "Is it like the BIGGEST one you've ever SEEN?"
LOL Cracks me up.

What *IS* the story behind that kitty, Dennie? Looks like a candidate for Guinness Book of World Records or Ripley's Believe It Or Not!
When I come to allnurses, I always click on to "Todays Active Threads" at the top of the page and try to remember at what time I last quit reading and then read whatever piques my interest as I go through all the pages of threads.
