What is your Allnurses.com surfing style? I tend to be systematic about everything. First I check my favorite areas, then the new posts. Seems to be snowballing, though, soon I'm going to be checking every section! How often do you post? Everytime regardless, only when you have something profound to say, only when in the mood, rarely, Never?

I start with Today's Active Threads, but by the time I'm finished its time to start over. It is actually quite a vicious cycle, sometimes I get dizzy! :stone

l don't know how to create a home page, lv'e tried with no success...l wanted to make the all nurses my home page too...anyway, l usually click today's active threads, go thru them all if l have time then go back and refresh...sometimes l have to make myself stop..lol...it is a vicious cycle!!!...anyway, last night at work , it was late and things slowed down...l was surfing thru and looking at the walmart thread and reading the coments about dennie's p..l mean kitty...l heard some snickers behind me and all the sudden4 or 5 co-workers were reading with me..even the er doc and laughing their a$$ off...one of the nurses wrote down the site....we may soon have our own mini-cult at work...hey it is kind of cult-like isn't it???...maybe we should create some bizarre rules.....and brian is a cyber-god.....oh-oh..my train of thought has de-railed...bye-bye...lr

oh i forgot...hey rustyhammer...one of the male paramedics caught a glimpse of the monitor while your avatar was on the screen and accused me of cruising an on-line dating service...that's when all the crew started gathering around the 'puter to see what was goin' on...the ladies think you're quite a handsome fella!!!!....they want to know if you ever come to ohio?????.....then we changed threads and got a peek at the kitty...and l think they forgot about you..lol...it's hard to compete with a giant..''kitty''.....but you and denny's ''kitty'' caused quite a stir........lr

Hey l.rae! What kind of browser do you use?

I use internet explorer. Up at the top is the "Tools" bar. Pull it down and go to Internet Options. Right there is the place to copy & paste what you want to be your homepage.

It's that easy (as long as your not on AOL or something like that)

ha! i'm always in the mood for conversation. my husband said it runs in the family since my kids and siblings are the same way. my only brother can out-talk all of us put together. :chuckle i enjoy the gift of gab.....as most women seem to do....no need acting like i don't. :chair: i may read many posts, but will only post on those that interest me. when i log on to this site, i always click on "today's active threads" and take it from there. quite often i will go to the last page on the threads just to see if i want to respond to something old. :kiss

FREE yourself from the opressive bonds of tyranny! Flee the over priced, slow, treachery that is AOL.

It's 1330 and believe it or not, I just woke up, so I'm a little bit emotional. But believe me, if AOL isn't evil, it's the next best thing. Find another ISP l.rae. AOL is slow, they patronize their users, AND they sell your information all the time. Other ISP's are faster, less expensive, and you retain more privacy!

Do it! You'll be glad you did!
