Has anyone read the article in the September issue of the Reader's Digest related to hospital personnel? I am just looking for impressions. At this point I have just glanced at it - but thus far it appears as though it is taking the hospital industry to task

Take a look in the LPN Corner of the BB. It's come up there. Personally I think they are right to open the public's eyes to the fact that unlicensed personnel look just like licensed personnel, so you have to read the name tag. The only problem is, the part with the listing of all the procedures that you should request a RN for are all procedures a LVN can perform. Ruffled some LVN feathers with good reason. On top of that, it doesn't even specify the tasks that you DO need a RN for!
