Can anyone tell me about how much it costs a hostipal to get and maintain specialty certifications, like CPC or PSC? Or maybe where to find this info? Thanks

I'm not sure what you mean. I'm not familiar with those certifications, but certifications are generally obtained by an individual, not a hospital. Thus, it costs the individual person money to obtain a certification, not the hospital. Some hospitals do offer reimbursement for certifications.

I am getting ready to take my ortho cert test. It cost $350. I got a discount for being a member of ortho association and I get a little bit of money if I pass.

I think most are in the 300-500 range.

I mean like the organizational specialty certs, like for chest pain center, primary stroke center, etc. That does help, Anna. Thanks. Probably just have to email them to get some cost estimates.
