Out with the New...In with the Old..

  1. With all the talk about nursing diagnosis going out the window, how will it affect nursing in so far as professionalism, autonomy, its classification as a sub specialty of medicine (like RRT, RPT, RD, etc)? Are today's nurses prepared for the inevitable change?...are we up to the challenege?

I missed that talk, what with moving and all. Can you post a link to the source you are referring to, so I can research it?? Thanks.

As someone who is interested in teaching someday, I would LOOOOVVVVEEE to see nursing diagnosis out the door along with care plans. Where is this idea posted? I've not heard a word about it. I would love to see the model to take their place. What's the story?
