With all the talk about nursing diagnosis going out the window, how will it affect nursing in so far as professionalism, autonomy, its classification as a sub specialty of medicine (like RRT, RPT, RD, etc)? Are today's nurses prepared for the inevitable change?...are we up to the challenege? :smokin:

As someone who is interested in teaching someday, I would LOOOOVVVVEEE to see nursing diagnosis out the door along with care plans. Where is this idea posted? I've not heard a word about it. I would love to see the model to take their place. What's the story?
